I still rent. I have an ace boyfriend but we don't live together. Instead, I'm more than happy to call my friend Holly my landlady. Actually, I never call her 'Landlady'. It would freak her out.
We've lived together for a couple of years now in a house share and got on so well that when she bought her first place just before Christmas, she gave me dibs on a room. Yuss! Living in a house of two is brill. And she's crafty and most entertaining. It's a perfect little abode (apart from the ice-rink couple of steep hills we're currently negotiating twice a day to get to work and back *checks current state of weather and bus services*).
January has been full of pottering around my new room finding space for things. It's all fitted furniture and wallpaper borders and reminds me exactly of my room circa 1996.
It's coming together.
